Visiting hours:
The National Museum of Art of Romania, the Theodor Pallady Museum and the K. H. Zambaccian Museum can be visited: Wednesday-Friday 10am-6pm

Saturday-Sunday 11am-7pm, Monday and Tuesday closed. Free entry on the first Wednesday of the month.
The Art Collections Museum: Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 10am-6pm, Saturday and Sunday 11am-7pm, closed Wednesday and Thursday. Free entry on the first Tuesday of the month.
Last entrance: 1 hour before closing for The National Museum of Art of Romania and the Art Collections Museum and 30 minutes for the Theodor Pallady Museum, the K. H. Zambaccian Museum and the temporary exhibitions.
For guided tours, please make a reservation at secretariat@art.museum.ro at least 7 days in advance. 
On December 11,12 and 15, 2025, the Throne Hall and the Voivodes’ Staircase will be closed to the public. Thank you for your understanding!

The National Museum of Art of Romania invites you on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 16:00, to a new Meeting at the museum, with critic and art historian Vladimir Bulat, who will give a presentation - a journey through the exhibition "A Century of Bessarabian Painting. One hundred works from the collection of the National Art Museum of Moldova in Chisinau", open on the ground floor of the National Gallery (Calea Victoriei 49-53).

The presentation will focus on the artistic space across the Prut, starting from the exhibition "A Century of Bessarabian Painting. One hundred works from the collection of the National Art Museum of Moldova in Chisinau". It will review the most important moments in the history of local art, outstanding personalities and exhibitions from 1922-2024, with details about the establishment of the School of Fine Arts in Chisinau.

Vladimir Bulat was born in Chisinau in 1968 and graduated from the Academy of Arts in Kiev and the National University of Arts in Bucharest. He is currently a member of the International Association of Art Critics (AICA) and of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Moldova and Romania.

The program "Meeting at the Museum" aims to mediate public contact with personalities from various fields of culture on topics at the intersection of various artistic genres.

The entrance fee is 12 lei.

Organized in partnership with the Romanian Cultural Institute, the exhibition "A Century of Bessarabian Painting. One hundred works from the collection of the National Museum of Art of Moldova in Chisinau" remains open until 30 June 2024. The curator is Tudor Stavilă, art historian and critic from the Republic of Moldova.
