On the occasion of Cinema Day 2023, the National Art Museum of Romania, in partnership with Happy Cinema, invites you to the screening of the documentary film "Titian. Empire of color", Friday, September 22, 2023, 7:00 p.m. at the Auditorium Hall (Str. Ştirbei Vodă no. 1).

The documentary "Titian. Empire of Color" maps the life and prolific work of the Venetian artist. International experts, critics and contemporary artists describe both the style, temperament and ambitions of the master, as well as the city of Venice, which represented for Titian the foundation of the "empire of color". Winning the sympathy of popes and emperors with his emblematic works, Titian became one of the representative artists of the Italian Renaissance. An extraordinary talent and a brilliant entrepreneur, innovative both in his works and in their marketing, Titian soon became the official painter of the Venetian Republic, but also an artist sought after by the richest and most famous Courts in Europe.

The direction is signed by Giulio Boato and Laura Chiossone, and the cast includes names such as Jessica Piccolo Valerani, Tommaso Amadio, Leonardo Scarpa, Giovanni Tomassetti and Diego Carli. The duration of the documentary is 90 minutes, having the category GA (general audience).

"In the second year in which Cinema Day is being organized, MNAR offers both the general public and film enthusiasts a meeting space between fine arts and cinematography through the screening of Titian's film. The empire of color" declares Călin Stegerean, general director of MNAR.

Tickets worth 30 lei and can only be purchased online at happycinema.ro https://www.happycinema.ro/happy-cinema-muzeul-national-de-arta-al-romaniei/m/titian-imperiul-culorii-4999
