Flight, what a joy!
All my life I searched for nothing else but the very essence of flight Brâncuși reportedly once said.
To celebrate his anniversary (19 February 1876) we challenge you to … fly!
Let your mind fly and float freely among his sculptures in the Romanian Modern Art Gallery.
Look carefully at the tenderness of Brâncuși’s rendering of children Heads.
Notice their slight inclination to one side? The small plaster Prometheus also seems to rest on one side!
Ready to enjoy a quick (imaginary) flight? Go to the Zambaccian Museum where another Head of a Child by Brâncuși is waiting for you.
Don’t forget to follow us on Facebook to challenge us with questions about Brâncuși. We will be happy to answer them!
