Romanian Painting from the Collection of the Bonte Foundation (14/02 - 30/04/2017)

Presented in 2016 at the Ajuda National Palace in Lisbon, the exhibition complements the Museum’s collections offering a fresh perspective on Romanian painting from the 1870s to the 1940s as discovered by Portuguese businessman and collector Alain Bonte.

The exhibition is organized by the National Museum of Art of Romania in partnership with the Bonte Foundation and the Romanian Cultural Institute and sheds light on a foreign collector’s perspective on Romanian art.

Special guided tours and activities will complement the exhibition.
