DESCRIPTION:The Royal Foundation Margareta of Romania and the National Muse
 um of Art of Romania are delighted to present the Talent 35 visual art exh
 ibition from January 18 to February 23 2025 in the Kretzulescu Halls (Walt
 er Mărăcineanu Street entrance\, opposite Kretzulescu Church).\nThe exhibi
 tion opening took place on January 18 2025 at 5:00 PM in the presence of H
 er Majesty Margareta and Her Royal Highness Princess Sofia. The curator of
  the exhibition is Associate Professor Dr. Ion Anghel\, painter\, member o
 f the Union of Visual Artists of Romania and mentor within the national pr
 ogram Young Talents.\nSince 2009\, the Royal Foundation Margareta of Roman
 ia has been developing the Young Talents national program\, offering 440 s
 cholarships to students of vocational education institutions who required 
 support to reach their true potential and express their talent. Financial 
 support for artistic development was complemented by intergenerational men
 torship\, promotion and international cultural exchanges. As a result\, ma
 ny scholarship recipients evolved and established themselves in the visual
  arts world\, achieving national and international exposure and building s
 uccessful artistic careers.\nThrough the Talent 35 anniversary exhibition 
 52 young visual artists who have benefited from the Royal Foundation suppo
 rt will exhibit their works for the first time in Romania’s most important
  art museum – the National Museum of Art of Romania\, housed in the former
  Royal Palace in Bucharest. The artistic explorations of these young creat
 ors over time are now materialized in a collection of 91 works created usi
 ng various techniques such as painting\, photography\, sculpture\, install
 ation\, fashion design\, illustration and scenography.\nThe exhibition wil
 l be open to the public from January 18 to February 23 2025.\nAt the openi
 ng the Talent 35 Contemporary Art Album was launched – a selection of 72 a
 rtworks by emerging young artists who today share their talent with the wo
 rld. The album is coordinated by Associate Professor Dr. Carmen Apetrei.\n
 On January 18 1990 Her Majesty Margareta and Her Royal Highness Princess S
 ofia\, under the guidance of King Michael\, initiated their first humanita
 rian actions when they arrived in Romania for the first time. Over the pas
 t 35 years the Royal Foundation Margareta of Romania developed numerous su
 stainable projects in education\, culture\, community development and civi
 l society\, contributing to Romania's spiritual and social renewal.\nMarki
 ng 35 years since its establishment\, the Royal Foundation Margareta of Ro
 mania continues its mission to support and promote emerging artists and op
 en new cultural horizons for them through the bilateral initiative 'Talent
  35 – Supporting and Promoting Emerging Artists and Contemporary Art'\, de
 veloped in partnership with Nedland Kultur from Norway. This initiative su
 pports contemporary art and emerging artists\, raises awareness of cultura
 l diversity and strengthens cultural cooperation and exchange between Roma
 nia and Norway.\nVisiting hours for the Talent 35 exhibition:\n\nWednesday
 –Friday: 10 AM–6 PM\nSaturday–Sunday: 11 AM–7 PM\nClosed on Mondays and Tu
 esdays\nFree admission on the first Wednesday of each month.\n\nTalent 35 
 – Supporting and Promoting Emerging Artists and Contemporary Art is a bila
 teral initiative funded through the EEA and Norway Grants – the National B
 ilateral Fund within the RO-CULTURA Program.\nThe total value of the bilat
 eral initiative is 618\,840.41 RON (124\,355.03 EUR). Together for a green
 \, competitive\, and inclusive Europe.\nAbout the EEA Grants The EEA Grant
 s represent the contribution of Iceland\, the Principality of Liechtenstei
 n and the Kingdom of Norway to reducing economic and social disparities in
  the European Economic Area and strengthening bilateral relations with the
  15 beneficiary states in Eastern and Southern Europe and the Baltic state
 s. These funding mechanisms are established under the Agreement on the Eur
 opean Economic Area which brings together EU member states and Iceland\, L
 iechtenstein\, and Norway as equal partners in the internal market.\nIn to
 tal\, the three states contributed €3.3 billion between 1994 and 2014 and

 d Norway Grants are the contribution of Iceland\, Liechtenstein\, and Norw
 ay to a green\, competitive\, and inclusive Europe. There are two main obj
 ectives: reducing economic and social disparities in Europe and strengthen
 ing bilateral relations between the donor countries and 15 EU countries in
  Central and Southern Europe and the Baltic States. The three donor countr
 ies work closely with the EU through the Agreement on the European Economi
 c Area (EEA). Between 1994 and 2014\, the donors provided €3.3 billion thr
 ough consecutive grant schemes. For the 2014-2021 period\, the EEA and Nor
 way Grants amount to €2.8 billion.\nAbout the RO-CULTURA Program The RO-CU
 LTURA Program is implemented by the Romanian Ministry of Culture through t
 he Project Management Unit and has the overall objective of strengthening
